Think of these organizations each time you park your car in a Lions Parking Lot. Think of all these grants the next time you buy a BBQ plate and a drink.

The Wimberley Lions will continue to invest in and support Market Days as a mainstay for the organization and for the Wimberley community. The Lions support a variety of programs including community service projects (Crisis Bread Basket, Barnabas Connection, Chamber of Commerce, Friends of the Wimberley Library, Fire Department and EMS), worthy animal rescue projects (WAG, PAWS Shelter and ARF), the arts (Wimberley Community Chorus, Wimberley Valley Art League, Wimberley Players, Starlight Symphony Orchestra and EmilyAnn Theatre), youth programs (Girl and Boy Scouts, Special Olympics and the Hays County Youth Shelter), in-school youth projects (LEO Clubs at our high schools, Freedom Canines, academic improvement projects), 2 and 4 year scholarships (8 per year) and youth exchange… to name a few. In 2018, Wimberley Lions hit the $4,000,000 mark in contributions to the community since the club was chartered in 1969!
