Sometimes called Sunny by certain characters (Namely Stranger).Īge: Approximately four years old (Was created to protect Sunny from the truth of actions committed when he was 12, and he's 16 by the end of the game). Tier: At least 8-C physically, Unknown, likely Low 2-C, possibly 2-C with Reality Warping All is well in Headspace, but "Sunny's" fate in the real world is unknown, either accidentally stabbing himself in his sleep or simply moving away, never saying goodbye to his former friends. Seeing his original self unable to cope with his fear, Omori decides to "Save" Sunny, absorbing or destroying his personality, and saves Basil in headspace. In the latter, called the Hikikomori Route (or simply the Omori Route), Sunny refuses to leave his house in the days leading up to moving away, and making Sunny's encounters with Something even worse. Omori then proceeds to take his own life in the real world. If not, Sunny's personality disappears, leaving only Omori. If Sunny continues, he accepts his guilt and Omori disappears.

When Omori inevitably defeats Sunny, the player can either choose to continue or not. He's interrupted by Omori, who tells him that his friends would never forgive him, and that he should just die. Eventually, Sunny goes into Headspace separate from Omori, remembering what he did, but also seeing happy memories of his friends. This goes so far as to kill the Headspace version of Basil multiple times to prevent him from sharing the truth with Sunny, and erasing memories of Basil from the rest of Headspace. In the former, called the Sunny Route, Omori does everything possible to prevent Sunny from realizing the truth, that Sunny was the cause of Mari's death. Omori is an avatar of sorts for Sunny in Headspace, while still being a separate individual. Sunny eventually became homeschooled and never left his home at all up until three days before he was set to move to a new town, where the player can choose to explore Faraway Town with the real world Kel or stay locked up at home. Omori was the result of Sunny embracing his disbelief of the situation. This devastated all of Sunny's friends and possibly caused Sunny's father to leave the family. In a panic, he hung her body from a tree with help from Basil to stage it as a suicide. To be more specific, after an unknown disagreement that broke his violin, Sunny pushed his sister Mari down the stairs, accidentally killing her. In reality, Omori is an Alter-Ego of Sunny, created to protect him from the truth of his actions. He and the rest of his friends Kel, Aubrey, Hero and Mari, go on a quest to find him. After a certain incident happens, his best friend Basil disappears. However, he commonly enters a dream world of sorts, called Headspace, to play with his friends and go on adventures. He's lived in a place known as White Space for as long as he can remember. Omori is the main character of the RPGmaker game of the same name. ~ The story of the creation of both Headspace and Omori himself Traveling along blissfully, ignorant of his own fabrication. From that time on, the DREAMER has lived amongst us. Only then would the noise cease to agitate the DREAMER's sanity. To truly escape the perils of his own faculty and ascend to a blissful state of ignorance. or the absence of it, would become the DREAMER's greatest gift. The DREAMER's own power was his greatest adversary. What the DREAMER had created was something he could not be a part of, something outside himself. The DREAMER could run and bury away his fears, but one still has to face his own reflection.

The noise might have subsided, but it never went away. Even with new allies, the darkness continued to scrape and scratch at the back of the DREAMER's mind. Yet despite his valiant efforts, the darkness's presence never abated. Then he compounded his worlds above the dark realm. Powerless to silence the noise, the DREAMER manifested benevolent entities in his different worlds. Quiet as they may have been, words of malice quietly crept into his mind. The DREAMER slowly became filled with dread. one painted with chaos and bathed in darkness. the DREAMER's curiosity and clumsy exploration eventually led him to a certain world. Walking the path as a visitor to these worlds, the DREAMER would come and go as he pleased. The DREAMER grew weary of his room and created a door that led to many different worlds. In the beginning, there only existed two. a story about the creation of this reality. I will tell you a story that has been lost through time.
